Big Sexy Hair Powder Play Review

Hey Everyone!

I have been absolutely loving this product by Sexy Hair called Powder Play! I received this in my ipsy bag last month and  thought that it wouldn't work for me. But... after trying it the for the first time... I was really impressed!

Powder Play is used to create volume and texture to hair that is limp, fine and flat. I really don't like teasing my hair because it is so fine and I am always afraid that it will get damaged and break.
I want some volume too! :)  This product really gives me the lift I need and makes my hair have volume.

I had been using dry shampoo for a couple of years and found that I could use it to help with lifting the roots but I always felt that some brands left a heavy residue behind. With Powder Play, I sprinkle it on the roots, work it in , and it gives me instant lift with minimal residue left behind.

Some other great things about it.... no scent! Also...no white powdery hair!  It's white when it first is sprinkled on the hair but then it dissolves away clear! No powdery looking hair like some dry shampoo's tend to leave behind. The one draw back... it has a bit of a sticky feel on the hands after you apply it.  I don't mind it for the result I get and it easily washes off with water.

First, I part my hair, sprinkle the Powder Play, and work it in the roots. Then I repeat the process, parting section by section, until I have gone all across the top of my head. Brush my hair a bit and done!

The result is natural looking lifted roots. Its not too much lift. Its just enough. :)

If you have flat, fine hair like mine I would highly recommend trying out this product. Especially if you have been using dry shampoo to get volume and lift. This is so much better! Give it a try!

Let me know if you have used this product before or any of the Sexy Hair products! I would love to hear your results!
